Limit Min/Max Selectors in Checkbox/ Button Options/ Swatch

This feature lets you set limits on how many different values customers can select in one option (for example, "Pick up to 3 toppings").

Available on the Advanced plan and above. It works with Checkbox, Button, Swatch, Switch, Dropdown menu and Dropdown with thumbnail options. A Radio button always allows a single choice.

Steps to Manage

1. Select the option (Checkbox, Button, Swatch, Switch, Dropdown menu or Dropdown with thumbnail) in your option set.
2. Scroll to the Quantity section.
3. Tick "Limit how many different option values can be selected". On a Dropdown menu, this is also what lets customers select more than one value.
4. Enter the Min selected option values and Max selected option values. The limit also applies to the number of default option values you set.
5. Click Save to apply your settings.

If a customer selects fewer or more values than allowed, a message is shown on the product page. You can change the wording of these messages in Settings > Translation Texts > Default text customization > Product page (Min selector and Max selector).
