OPTIS Color Swatch's Pricing | Changing Shopify Plan

What happens when your Shopify plan changes?

OPTIS Color Swatch uses a pay-as-you-grow pricing model, meaning your app plan is linked to your Shopify plan.

How it works

  • You pay for OPTIS based on the Shopify plan you have at the start of each billing cycle.
  • If your Shopify plan changes during the cycle, nothing happens immediately.
  • At the end of that billing cycle, we check your current Shopify plan.

What you need to do

  • If your Shopify plan is different from the one you originally paid for, you’ll be asked to approve a new app subscription that matches your new plan.
  • You’ll have 7 days to approve it.
  • During this 7-day grace period, the app continues to work normally.

If you don’t approve in time

  • After 7 days, the app will be temporarily disabled.
  • Your setups are not deleted.
  • Once you approve the new subscription, everything is restored instantly.

Example

You start the billing cycle on Shopify Basic and later upgrade to Shopify Advanced.

At the end of the cycle, you’ll be asked to approve the OPTIS plan for Shopify Advanced.

You have 7 days to approve before the app is disabled.

How charges work when you change your Shopify plan

👉 If you upgrade your Shopify plan

  • You may need to pay an outstanding amount.
  • This amount is the difference between your new plan price and your original plan price.
  • The charge is issued by Shopify and appears on your Shopify bill, not in the OPTIS app bill.

👉 If you downgrade your Shopify plan

  • No extra charge is applied.
  • The price difference will be shown as a discount amount on your app bill.
