# Edit option on cart page

This feature is available on the **Platinum** plan and above. See [Plans and feature availability](/product-options/getting-started/plans-and-features).

**Installing the 'Edit option on cart page' advanced feature help:**

* ✏️ Customers can edit selected options directly in the cart.
* 🔄 No need to remove and re-add the product.
* 🎯 Makes shopping faster and more flexible.

### How to make it work in your store?

This setup involves some coding and may be a bit complex if you're not familiar with technical tasks. Please contact us via live chat for free installation. We will complete it for you within 1 working day

**Step 1: Install the code**

* Go to **Advanced features**, find **Edit option on cart page** and click **Self-install (for dev)**. The page is titled **In-cart Editing**.

* Follow the steps in the instructions to install

* Click verify code to ensure you did the installation correctly

**Step 2: Enable the widget**

* Go back to the **In-cart Editing** page and, in **Step 1: Enable the feature**, turn on the toggle.

You can rename the **Edit options**, **Update** and **Cancel** texts in **Settings > Translation Texts > Default text customization > Cart page**, and change the color of the edit button in **Settings > Design Settings > Color**.
