# Collection page click behaviour

# Collection page click behaviour

Choose what happens when a shopper clicks a swatch **on a collection page** — update the product image in place, or jump straight to the product. Configure it in **Global settings**.

There are two independent settings, since Product Groups and regular variant options often need different behavior:

| Setting | Controls |
| --- | --- |
| **Product Group swatches** | Click behavior for swatches that switch between products in a [Product Group](https://help.optis.me/en/article/show-separate-products-as-variants-with-product-groups-4kg0qu/) |
| **Variant picker swatches** | Click behavior for regular variant option swatches |

Each one can be set to:

* **Change product image** (default) — the collection card's image updates to the selected option, the shopper stays on the collection page.
* **Redirect to the selected/main product page** — clicking the swatch takes the shopper straight to that product's page.

|| **Quick view always changes the image** — it never redirects, regardless of this setting.

Click **Save** after changing either setting.
